Getting Started

Navigate the application

Find signals, define ICPs, manage prospects, create campaigns, and handle replies in Canvass.

Canvass has seven everyday destinations. Each uses your active workspace's records and permissions.

Everyday work

DestinationWhat you do here
TodaySee what needs you and resume work in progress.
ProspectsFind buyers and save useful companies, people, and lists.
CampaignsPrepare recipients and emails, review content, and launch.
InboxRead conversations, prepare replies, and follow up.
CRMWork with companies, people, deals, tasks, and notes.
MeetingsAdd a meeting, link its CRM records, and review its transcript or recording.
AgentsConnect your agent, choose its access, and follow its activity.

Open Agents, select Connect an agent, choose your harness, and follow its setup instruction. After access is ready, copy a task into your agent to begin.

CRM and meeting follow-up

In CRM → Deals, open a Canvass deal to see its stage and open next steps. Add next step lets you choose an owner, priority, and due date. If a stage update loses its response, use Retry move to check the same change. Imported opportunities retain their existing company view.

Use Add meeting from the deal to carry the company into a new meeting. Linking a company does not share a private recording. Inside a meeting, Summary and next steps keeps the summary beside the evidence; Meeting details and sharing holds the less frequent controls. Editing starts with the saved summary. If the meeting changes during an edit, reopen the summary before saving.

Company context and research

Expand Company & knowledge for your company strategy, ICPs, markets, approved knowledge, competitor research, and copy. Web research uses a connected treg team for backlink profiles, anchor text, keyword ideas, and AI visibility. You choose a spending limit before each run.

Reports contains outreach results, visitor intent, signal monitoring, and diagnostics. Connections manages provider credentials. Technical execution details remain available within the relevant record, without becoming steps in routine selling work.

Company context describes what you sell. Your ICP describes who fits. CRM records describe potential customers. These remain separate records, with links where they belong.

Campaign navigation

A campaign has one row of tabs:

TabContents
OverviewThe saved goal, offer, ICP, and available supporting material.
RecipientsThe campaign’s audience document, preparation controls, and prospect pool when membership can be verified.
EmailsPrepared messages and sequence content for review.
LaunchContent review, sending readiness, required approvals, and the next launch action.
ActivityRecorded delivery outcomes, including processing, failures, and uncertain delivery.

After content review, follow Confirm campaign details and the safety-check action in Launch. Each approval remains a separate decision.

Create campaign starts with an empty name and goal, plus named offer and ICP selections. Saving creates a draft; it sends no email. Campaign identifiers are handled internally. Older Context and ICP tab links open Overview; Review links open Launch.

Stella stays beside your work

Select Ask Stella to open the right panel, or press Ctrl+I / ⌘I. Close it with its close button or Esc. Closing preserves the mounted conversation and unfinished message. On wide screens it docks beside your work; on smaller screens it opens as a drawer.

Campaign conversations are scoped to the selected campaign revision. Full Chats remains available for longer conversations.

Inbox

Select a conversation to read it. On desktop the conversation list and thread scroll independently; on mobile, use Back to conversations to return to the list. Write reply opens a composer. Save for review persists the draft and opens review beside the conversation; sending remains a separate action.

Unsaved reply edits survive switching conversations while Inbox stays open. Save them for review before leaving the page. Use Draft review for the full review queue. Mailbox sync and connection controls are collapsed above the Inbox; meeting, activity, and scheduling views are available through More.

Find less frequent tools

Use application search for saved lists, inbound leads, review queues, custom fields, and technical diagnostics. These routes remain available for focused work and existing bookmarks. Open a CRM record to see its related people, deal stage, notes, and next steps.

The two sidebar groups, Company & knowledge and Reports, expand in place without leaving the current page. Connections has its own link.

Jump to a destination

Use Search, ⌘K, or Ctrl+K. The command palette matches names and related terms: icp finds ICPs, competitor finds Competitors, and shortlist finds Approvals.

Search and filters change what you see. They do not change campaign eligibility, suppression, approval requirements, or sending permissions.

Existing Accounts, Contacts, Lists, Find accounts, Target Markets, and campaign-version links remain valid. /gtm/replies opens Inbox; /gtm/settings opens Connections.
